Infusion therapy is a cosmetic treatment that gently gets serums and nutrients directly into the skin.
During the infusion therapy, a device with single-use, sterilised pins is used. The pins lightly move up and down across the surface of the skin, making tiny channels in its surface. Serums are then applied and can be more deeply absorbed into the skin through these channels. The treatment process also boosts collagen production and cell turnover rate, which help the skin heal itself from acne scars and other imperfections more effectively.
With the infusion therapy, we use different serums depending on each client’s needs.

How does Microneedling work?
With expert precision, technique and timing, your aesthetician/practitioner will use EXCEED to trigger growth factors for building new collagen. They will create controlled microchannels in the skin which instigate regeneration of skin cells via a natural process of healing. Awakening the fibroblast that lies within the deeper layers of the skin, you will naturally produce new, healthy collagen.
What does the Microneedling treatment involve?
Before the microneedling treatment, your face is thoroughly cleansed and prepared. Following this, an anaesthetic cream may be applied at the discretion of your aesthetician/practitioner. The process itself is nearly painless; the needles only penetrate the top layer of the skin plus the speed and depth of penetration can be adjusted by the operator based on your level of comfort, ensuring a great experience plus optimal results.
Immediately after your treatment there will be visible redness on the treatment area which can be easily covered post-treatment. Most inflammation will have disspeared one day after the procedure. Whilst patients should avoid direct sunlight in the first days after a microneedling treatment, its possible to go back to work immediately.

How often should you have a Microneedling procedure?
This is very patient specific, such that your skin type and condition will indicate your number and frequency of treatments as determined by your aesthetician/practitioner.
In general, most patients undergo 3-6 procedures at intervals of four to eight weeks. Following this, a maintenance plan will then be created to sustain your results.
How many treatments will I need?
Generally, 3 Microneedling treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart are highly recommended. For deep acne scarring, 6 to 8 treatment sessions may be needed to achieve the desired results.
